The Fanatullen Scandinavian Dancers learn, teach and demonstrate folk dances from the Scandinavian countries of Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Iceland. For almost thirty years, the Fanatullen Scandinavian Dancers have met weekly from September to April, Monday evenings at Festival Hall 4214 - 58 St. Red Deer, AB. They offer lessons for children age 5 and up and dance sessions for adults. Singles are welcome and Scandinavian heritage is not required.

The German Canadian Club is made up of many different nationalities, including Austrian, Swiss and Dutch members! You do not have to be German, or speak German to be a Member of the club. If you like or are interested in the German culture, this is the place to be!! We all share the same ideas and enjoy getting together for a good time.
The German Canadian Club have many special celebrations throughout the year, from the Fruehlingsfest (Springfest) to Sommernachtsfest, Oktoberfest and Weihnachtsfeier (Christmas party).
The German Canadian Club treasures our heritage in all aspects, and are proud to take part in different community celebration events like Canada Day!

Kvitka is a non-profit organization that has been offering lessons to dancers from age 3 to over 70 for over 40 years! We take pride in sharing the Ukrainian Heritage through our performances at many venues, beautiful costumes that we get from Ukraine and by promoting cultural food through food booths and fundraisers.

MNA Local 492 serves the Metis people of Central Alberta. While we are based in Red Deer our local area encompasses: North to South: Morningside to Didsbury; East to West: Eckville to Castor The Metis Association of Alberta was founded in 1928 to represent the interest and concerns of the Metis people of Alberta. The Local objective is to provide cultural support and help the Metis people improve themselves and their livelihood. The Local helps to educate the general public as to who we are, our culture and the role Metis people had in the development of Canada and Alberta. The Metis culture includes arts, hunting, trapping, fishing, and other traditions that can be promoted within the community.
